Do I need a consultation?
Yes. I always recommend a consultation to rule out any contraindications. The treatment can be performed on the same day as consultation time is allowed for with all new clients. If your skin is not in the right condition to receive a plasma treatment, you will be recommended appropriate home-care products to use as well as one to two facials to get your skin in good enough condition that you will achieve maximum results from the treatment. This is not the case for everyone, however if you are a skincare novice with a very basic routine, it is unrealistic to expect that you can go straight into a highly advanced skin treatment without prepping your skin first.

What are the aftercare requirements?
At your consultation you will be provided with a copy of the pre-and post treatment advice as well as being read through all of the treatment precautions and considerations. On the day of your appointment you will be provided with some take-home aftercare which is included in the cost of your treatment.

Does the treatment hurt?
Absolutely not! Unlike Thermal Plasma Fibroblast, there is absolutely zero trauma. Some clients may feel a slight buzzing or tingling on the skin, but it's not painful and most clients feel nothing at all.

How long will it take to see results?
Results can usually be seen immediately with improved and enhanced hydration and absorption of products. Treatments should be done in a series of 6-10 sessions, depending on the end goal.

Are there any side effects?
CoolJet treatments are extremely safe. We always check all contraindications to see if there is any reason you would have an undesired result. Very rarely, slight redness or tingling can occur. Rest assured this is extremely rare and as long as you let us know of any skin problems or health issues and follow our aftercare program you should be fine.
